SHU Transform 2025
SHU Transform gives students the opportunity to explore and experience student life at Sheffield Hallam University, through 4 applied and engaging on-campus experiences.
SHU Transform will take place on the following dates:
- 18th June 2025 – Online via MS Teams. Evening event.
- 2nd July 2025 – In Person. Sheffield Hallam University, City Campus
- 3rd July 2025 – In person. Sheffield Hallam University, City Campus
- 4th July 2025 – In Person. Sheffield Hallam University, City Campus
- 24th September 2025 – In Person. Sheffield Hallam University, City Campus
You’ll build valuable transferable skills and knowledge to support your journey into higher education, while exploring one of five subject areas in depth through our Innovation Challenge:

Art & Design
Law
Business
Computing
The Innovation Challenge, designed by Sheffield Hallam University academics, gives you the chance to explore the subject in greater depth, work alongside other Year 12 students, and gain valuable insight into university-style learning. And while you’re here, you’ll also get the chance to explore the campus, check out our specialist facilities, and discover other aspects of student life – from societies to the social scene.
The Features
Students on the SHU Transform Programme will benefit from:
- Four on-campus experiences including a celebration event
- Workshops focusing on key transferable skills
- Subject tasters and tours
- Opportunity to meet new people and work on a group project set by subject experts
- Support with the application journey through online sessions
- An online portal with bespoke resources and content
- A dedicated and personal contact at the university
- Additional support in applying to Sheffield Hallam University
