The Department of Finance, Accounting and Business Systems offers a wide range of courses to over 700 students, specialising in accounting, banking, financial trading and economics. Our excellent links with leading professional bodies and industry give students the best start to their career and provide our staff with research and knowledge exchange activities that keeps their expertise current.
These courses are taught by the Sheffield Business School and with their strong vocational focus – including a third-year work placement and a final-year consultancy project – students will gain transferable skills and valuable work experience alongside their degree.
Our brilliant team of experts in the department have put together a series of interactive and stimulating talks and workshops that detail our approach to delivering high quality courses and exceptional student experience. We can facilitate specific one-off sessions or bigger taster days that include wider aspects of university life.
