IMA Festival 2022: Sponsors

We would like to say a massive thank you to the IMA, the ICMS and the Department of Engineering and Maths at Sheffield Hallam University, without their support we would not have been able to put on such a diverse and exciting festival.

The IMA is very active in encouraging young people to consider careers in mathematics and related entry routes in the mathematical sciences, as well as supporting mathematics education at all levels. This includes closely monitoring the school curriculum and putting its views to Government and supporting teachers through the Chartered Mathematics Teacher (CMathTeach) designation. In addition, the IMA promotes mathematics at science fairs, conferences and through public engagement events to inspire the next generation.

The International Centre for Mathematical Sciences (ICMS) provides a venue and support for diverse international conferences and workshops. We work with people from all over the world, creating international networks of mathematicians. We provide a space for large and small groups to gather and think together, making connections that might not have been possible otherwise. We have an extensive knowledge exchange programme, bringing together academia, industry, and wider communities to maximise the impact of research. We are also further developing an already impactful public engagement programme to help the wider publics to see the relevance and beauty of maths.

Department of Enigneering & Maths

We bring together a wide range of courses in engineering, mathematics and technology, all regularly updated and accredited with professional institutions. We work in partnership with a number of leading organisations including Rolls-Royce, Tata Steel, Kimberly Clark, JCB and Network Rail.

A big thank you also goes out to the below organisations for providing sponsorship, talks and activities…
