217 217 people viewed this event.
Funded by Innovate UK and the Department for Science, Innovation and Technology (DSIT), and led by Sheffield Hallam University, CyberRise Yorkshire will support schools in embedding cybersecurity and raising aspirations for young people.
These clubs will:
- Begin with KS3 clubs, with a small number piloted this autumn as groups for female identifying and non-binary students.
- Provide resources this October for all schools and all students, so that every school can get involved straight away.
- Offer CPD and coaching to help staff embed cybersecurity into the broader computing curriculum.
- Actively involve families and communities to help build long-term cyber capital.
If your school would like to be involved, please complete a short expression of interest here: https://cyberriseclubs.co.uk/
We welcome interest from both senior leaders and classroom teachers, so please do share this with the relevant colleague in your school.
If you have any questions please email us at sclo@shu.ac.uk.
