Would your year 12 or 13 students like to spend a day in the life of a Sheffield Hallam student? Our Uni Insight Days are the perfect opportunity to do this!

Help your students make informed decisions while discovering everything Hallam has to offer, from teaching and learning to student life.

What’s Involved:

These tailored on-campus visits offer students the perfect ‘try before you buy’ experience. We can usually accommodate any group size, and often deliver Uni Insight Days to full year groups of up to 200 students!

A typical Uni Insight Day consists of the following activities:

  • A Higher Education related talk or workshop of your choice from our offer menu.

  • A choice of subject specific taster workshops, led by Academic staff.

  • Campus tours (student accommodation tours may also be possible on request).

  • A student life talk and Q&A, featuring a presentation from a current student.

  • Evaluation forms, giving you and your students the opportunity to share your feedback on the day.

Refreshment breaks and a lunch break are included, and schedule content and timings can be adjusted to suit your needs.

Travel

We recommend planning your travel arrangements in advance. As a city-centre university, we do not have on-site parking available; however, there are nearby privately owned car parks that we can direct you to.

For environmental reasons, and as we are conveniently located next to Sheffield train station and the Sheffield bus interchange, we encourage travel by public transport whenever possible
