Our on-campus Sport & Physical Activity taster days are designed to give KS5 students unrivalled insight into the breadth and vibrancy of university-level sport, and the careers and pathways beyond. Delivered at Collegiate Campus, they’re the ideal first step for KS5 students considering progression to HE, and can be tailored to fit your group’s specific needs or interests.
Our taster days run 09:45-14:30 throughout the year, and we and can usually accommodate up to 50 students at each event. Our events are hands-on and expert-led, comprising of:
- Welcome talk delivered by SSPA staff
- Classroom-based workshop covering sport business or coaching
- Practical sport science sessions (one lab- and one field-based)
- Student-led campus tour
