Detecting counterfeit coins

Detect which one of five old “round pound” coins is a counterfeit. Use hand lens, electronic balance, digital calipers to evaluate coins and compare them with the Royal Mint specification. Confirm results using portable X-ray fluorescence kit (operated by the academic).
