Sheffield Hallam University’s School of Engineering and Built Environment offers hands-on, industry-focused courses which prepare students for working in the real world. Students can attend one of our taster days to undertake a ‘student accommodation challenge’- this day will give students an opportunity to undertake a wide range of different roles within the built environment, to help inform their future career choices.
Or book an individual masterclass to explore our facilities such as construction technology labs, surveying equipment, digital construction and building information modelling, so students can see what learning at Sheffield Hallam might be like.
You can find out more about outreach and the wider offer from the School of Engineering and Built Environment in our outreach booklet. Click here to view.
These sessions are designed for Year 12 & 13, for a maximum of 50 students.
We can often be flexible to meet your needs, so please get in touch with us via sclo@shu.ac.uk to discuss or book a session.
