Accounting, Finance, Banking and Economics Experience Day

Join Sheffield Business School for an interactive experience day where students will explore how accountants, economists, and financial analysts evaluate real companies.

Through hands-on activities, participants will analyse company financial statements, hear from industry alumni about careers in this sector, and use Bloomberg technology to build their own investment portfolios. Working in teams, students will decide how to allocate investments across global companies such as AstraZeneca, Apple, and Tesla, competing to create the best-performing portfolio.

This event offers a practical and engaging introduction to studying and working in accounting, finance, banking, and economics, and we would love for you to join us!

No advance preparation is necessary as all resources are provided.  

The day starts at 10:00 and is due to finish at 14:30, we recommend arriving from 9:45 for a prompt start.
